No to airline bailouts

As the topic of airline bailouts hit the news, several local groups used the opportunity to reinforce the public’s message that there should be no public bailouts for airlines. XR Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole visited Bournemouth airport, currently a vast parking lot for unused Virgin Atlantic and British Airways planes during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Rebels from Chew Valley, Clevedon and Mendip visited Bristol Airport, currently home to a number of grounded Easyjet and TUI planes. The airport recently had its application for an increase in night flights rejected by Bath and North East Somerset Council.
