The question isn’t how do we empower people, but how do we want to get people to want to become empowered in the first place?

For example, there are 33% of registered voters who are not voting and 9.4 million eligible voters not registered. How do we get these people interested in their lives, their futures and wanting their voice to be heard?

XR has gathered those already interested in climate,economic and social justice but often we aren’t hearing from the voices who are the least empowered by society, and who injustice directly affects. How can we reach these voices and communities?

Our people’s assembly will discuss this and wants to hear from all voices across the North.
