No More Poo in the South West Please!

Poo-llution is still rife on SouthWest beaches and in rivers, so #dirtywater still continues to galvanise XR Local Groups, the general public and other allies.

This weekend saw the Surfers Against Sewage Paddle Out in 3 locations across the South West and they were very well attended and received a lot of media coverage. The media are still covering the sh*tshow that is being staged by OFWAT and the privatised water companies as they formally apologised last week and announced a 10 billion infra-structure package that – guess what? – their customers are having to pay for it, with higher bills! Meanwhile, Water company shareholders and execs still continue to receive their dividends and bonuses – whilst the government sit back and do nothing.
